1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pro-Advisor Online website and the bookkeeping, BAS agent, payroll, software setup and advisory services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
Pro-Advisor Online provides bookkeeping and related services to Australian small and growing businesses. The scope of services, fees and deliverables for each client are set out in a separate engagement letter or service agreement.
We are a registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board. BAS and tax-related services are provided in accordance with applicable legislation and TPB requirements.
3. Client obligations
To allow us to deliver accurate and timely services, you agree to:
- Provide complete, accurate and up-to-date financial records and information.
- Respond to our requests for information within reasonable timeframes.
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your business, contact details or circumstances.
- Review and approve work where your authorisation is required.
4. Fees and payment
Fees are agreed in advance and documented in your engagement letter or service agreement. Payment terms, billing frequency and accepted payment methods are also set out in that agreement. We may suspend services where fees remain unpaid beyond the agreed terms.
5. Confidentiality
We treat your information as confidential and will not disclose it except as required to deliver our services, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, or with your consent. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Pro-Advisor Online's liability for any loss or damage arising from our services or website is limited to the fees paid for the relevant services in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages, or for losses caused by incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by you or a third party.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and images, is owned by or licensed to Pro-Advisor Online and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or modify this content without our prior written permission.
8. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as our client portal, booking calendar or accounting software providers. We are not responsible for the content, terms or privacy practices of those third parties.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship by giving reasonable written notice. Upon termination, you remain responsible for payment for services rendered up to the termination date. We will return or securely destroy your records in accordance with our professional obligations.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
